Intro: This is the 5.1 Beta version of 'Aam Aadmi's Great Minds Contest". If you are curious what to expect in these contests or the 'philosophy' behind the name of the contest, kindly check the Aam Aadmi's postings.
Inspiration for this Beta round of contest came from an unexpected corner. The current Contest was discarded in the development stages by the Aam Aadmi as it didnt meet his stringent Quality Standards. This one's pinched straight from his dustbin and gives an insight into the machinery at work behind the forehead. Since the Aam Aadmi is busy with other things (since there are no girls around, I assume its his marriage :-P) and has whetted our appetite beyond control, I am taking the liberty of posting the 5.1 Beta version. Hope he doesnt issue Fatwa against me for plagiarising.
What You are to do in the Contest : Basically Think! When I say think it involves every kind of thinking, lateral thinking, logical thinking, illogical thinking etc. Put simply you have to think like the Aam Aadmi! which means you may have to use not just your brain, mind, heart but also other organs which you can use to think! example kidney! ;-) You also need to have basic logic skills !You might need to keep your sense of humor along too! ;-)
Questions: Remember the Marilyn Monroe "It". In the following questions, some statements are made about "It" (not the Monroe one..eh). They may sound absurd at the outset, but are TRUE (remember the Aam Aadmi had made them!) You need to mention what is the logic he used to arrive at that particular statement. Also wherever question has numeric data, you need to support your answer with necessary backup material.
1) Remember the famous Three Musketeers slogan "All for one & One for all". For me "It" is "One for eleven".
To do: Explain why "It" is "One for eleven" for me!
2) One of SRK's men (yeh SRK kab mujhe chhodega !!!) is a type of "It". Explain who is this man and how is he a type of "It"
3) My favorite poet has written a poem on "It" (this is just a trick to increase footfall/mousefall)
4) Not only is "It", the hallmark of promiscuity, "It" is a widely proclaimed trigger to it too !
To do: explain logic behind "It" being the hallmark of promiscuity. Show how "It" also acts as a trigger.
5) "It", in some form is also known to sooth humans.
To do: explain logic behind "It" providing soothing effect.
6) I am not a terrorist. So my statement is: For me "One for eleven" is more relevant than 26/11.
To do: answer how is "It" more important than 26/11 !
Master clue: There is no need of individual clues to each question. As unravelling one logic will lead to the other very fast. So as a master clue I am just giving one word - "Aircel" ! Think of everything you can relate to "Aircel", from there light should shine somewhere, making you see the 'Master Logic' !! For picture lovers, please also refer to Pic 2 which should be a giveaway.
How to post answers: You can comment here or if you want to prevent others from getting hints from your answer or copying them, you can send via M2M too. Answers can go any length, if you want to explain and make yourself clear!
Deadline - The contest is open till 23rd Feb midnite
Results:Results & Winners ( IF ANY!!) will be announced on 24th or after.
Prizes: Since I too have run out of points just like the Aam Aadmi, organising too many contests. This is one Contest where there are no prizes to be won. Its only Glory. And the pride of being a "Great Mind Beta version" (Beta Version means Great Mind in the Making/Testing) !!
Bumper Prize - If anyone cracks the master logic & answers all 6 perfectly, the Aam Aadmi will declare him a "Great Mind Beta" & allow him wildcard into the quarterfinals of his next Contest.
Happy Contesting!
PS - The post is dedicated to our dear friend Rev. Bro Vineet, who is my partner in crime (of plagiarism)
