10 yrs later..................

6 30 pm:

Sitting in my office, holding the promotion letter in my hand. Was expecting it from last one week, got it today finally. My London trip also contributed to this offer, and salary also incresed quite high. Well, that's called a shot! Actually I planned to change the job after the bond period was over, but the company gave such a hike to stop me so that I didn't change. Now I see that was a good decision,I will get higher bonus also from this year. My wife called just now, informing that she booked the trip to Singapore, and it's going to be a 9-day trip. I am looking forward for this long vacation, as it's going to be a family reunion also. My parents are coming to our house for Diwali celebration this year,so we will have a great time. Let me switch off my Laptop, and say goodbye to others, it's time to go home. Oh, I just forgot to take the car-keys. Well, got them....... now I can go out.

Sounds like fairy tales? No, That's real. God listened to the prayers of one of his helpless children, and extended his hand once. I was able to grab the chance only, that also was an opportunity. Clicked an interview in a MNC which turned this door-to-door salesman to a corporate professional, who excelled very soon, and started getting everything what he wanted in his life. Now I really don't complain. God gave me whatever I wanted, even things I never dreamt of. But.............

few things I really miss those became a part of my life once. Among them, Naushad's "half glass" tea and "Dilkhush" are at the top of this list. I thinks Naushad himself is also responsible for my success............if he didn't look at me in pity and disgust, did I feel so much urge to try something new? Oh, again that "If "word!!!!!!!!!

I can't thank Naushad now...........he sold away the shop, and moved to someplace else. In the place of his bakery, now stands an apartment where I live, and I am going to park my car to that place where exactly I stood 10 yrs back.

Long journey,huh?
