In a Gurukul two students channu and mannu were getting education from a teacher. One-day teacher called both of them and said, “ your education is now complete, I have taught you everything that you needed, now both of you have to give a test, that test will determine your preparation and success in your life. Teacher took both of them to the two empty and dark rooms and said “ See both these rooms are empty I am giving both of you one rupee each now you have to fill your room by almost everything that this one rupee could buy. You have one whole day, now do it.”
Channu thought the teacher has gone crazy there was nothing could be bought in just one rupee to fill the entire room. As he was thinking he saw a bullock cart full of garbage passing from the road. He asked to driver of cart about the cost of garbage. The driver thought that after all he was going to throw the garbage, a single rupee for this garbage is not bad, it will reduce his effort also to dumb the garbage. He sold the garbage to Channu and dumped the room with the garbage. Sooner the room was filled with the dirty smell and still the room was empty.
On the other hand Mannu went into market and bought a candle, a matchbox, and fragrance sticks in a rupee. He lit the candle and room was filled with light then lit the fragrance stick and room was filled with lovely fragrance.
When teacher inspected the both room, he felt disgust by seeing the channu”s room and you may feel his reaction when he visited the Manu’s room. So bottom line is that it is your outlook that determines your course of action and makes destiny.
