I will rhyme the Eight Parts of Speech
With some Explanation on each.
Nouns are the naming words,
We underline the names of people, places, animals and birds.
After noun come pronoun,
Replace a noun with it and you can grasp it without a frown
Verb describes the action happening in a sentence
They come in past, present and future, which brings a lot of sense
Adverbs tell us how, when and where
Difficult adverbs are really rare
Adjectives describe the colours, numbers or looks
They are found in all grammar books
Prepositions give us the idea of position and place
They are used in all logical sentences in every case
Conjunctions are also called connectors
They act like a road joining two sectors
Interjections are words like Wow, Hello, Hi
