SOME moments become etched in our memory or grey cells as ever lasting. I started the day with nervous feeling that I am entering half my leg into the grave Lolz. Than what are friends for but comforting with Dev giving me good company and ringing in the night literally. Than my sister called from Paris and reminding me that we used to celeberate Dads and my birthday together. Since my dad and me were virtually born the same day, but year being different. That was an emotional since I miss my dad even today.
Next day morning my class mate Vijay Bahri calls up and gives me a pep talk literally. My wifey was the first to wish me literally and he reminded me of the same. I told him that I have received one of the best gift from my wife sometime back anticipating 50th birthday. He gave me assurance that he will try to promote my business too among his circle of friends, what gr8 news, was literally music to hear a classmate from an MNC company so early. Than there was confusion galore with Nagaraj regretting that my birthday celeberation is postponed to 13th Feb since KSCA was not available due to tightened security due to India vs OZ practice match. I cleared the air and told Nagaraj to join the celeberation at Indian Gymkhana.
We went to banaswadi temple and the rath yatra dharsan and came back home with Sridhar getting stuck in traffic jam due to Aero show. He reported directly to the venue. Than Ranjan Naik joined in the cheers session and DEV gave him company. Next my classmate came in with a big hearted smile and gifted me the ISRO satellite. Meanwhile DEV picked up World cup attire at Big Bazaar and presented me the same. It was a lovely gesture. Since we had to drive in the peak hour we took a detour and reached 45 minutes late.
Anna was waiting with Nagaraj at the Venue, we logged in and our session started in right earnest. The food was great with lots of starters, DEV and Nagaraj were in full form. Mazhar joined and presented me with a PUMA T shirt and his friend presented me AFL formal shirt. We had photo session with AZAM and everybody. My wifes’s colleague Shalini too enjoyed the debate and discussion with Nagaraj. I avoided my cuppa of brew alongwith Sridhar anna since we are responsible citizens, don t drive and drive. So our entire celeberation went on with laughter as the best medicine and we winded up around 11.15 pm and rushed back home to hit the sack…..what a eventful day. Thank you all the friends, I shall remain indebted for making it really momentous. There were birthday wishes galore in FB and MS too which added to the tadka. Last but not the least DEV’s Pizza backed up as the Cake……instead of cake I ended up cutting PIZZA
