United used to be one of the best airlines in the world, but lately it has been slipping. It has had way too many employee strikes and conflicts with the unions in the past year. There are too many delays resulting from these conflicts. United personnel are not polite in the least about these delay; they are actually quite rude and disrespectful. While I understand that its not the customer rep's fault, they should at least be considerate. So I think United is no good and one should travel with say Delta or Continental.
I would not recommend this airline to any body in the near future.
