October 10, 2016 – The homegrown automaker Tata Motors had launched the Tiago hatchback in the country in early 2016. The vehicle has received an excellent response from buyers. Bookings for the small car have already crossed 50, 000 mark. It comes with a waiting period of more than four variants for the select variants. Buoyed by an excellent response for the Tata Tiago, the company is now planning to launch an AMT version of the hatchback towards the end of this year.
As a reminder, Tata Motors has recently increased the prices of the Tiago hatchback by Rs 6, 000. While the prices of base petrol and diesel variant remain unchanged, other variants see a price hike of Rs. 6, 000. If reports are to be believed, the carmaker might further hike the prices of the mini hatch ahead of this festive season. While the petrol version of the Tiago is priced in the range of Rs. 3.20 lakh to Rs. 4.75 lakh, the diesel range costs between Rs. 3.94 lakh – Rs. 5.54 lakh(ex-showroom, Delhi).
