After reading all reviews of Tata Indicom Broad Band I decided not to go for it. But when I enquired with Airtel, they did not have additional capacity to provide any more connections. Reliance do not provide broadband in my area so only option I had was TataIndicom. So I applied for it and after lot of calls to CustService and Back team Managers finally it arried after 20 days.
Their initial service was extremely bad. Now I have Tata indicom for around 14 days and I am happy so far. Speed is ok. although it shows 100kbps, its not in reality.I lost connectivity only once and problem was rectified in 5 hrs.I stay in Miyapur, Hyd.I have post paid connection.If AirTel is not available, and you can't wait, then TataIndicom is the best option.
I feel its better than local providers as1. Bandwidth is not shared2. VPN connection may be blocked by local provider (If you want to work from home and connect to company network). With Tata Indicom you can connect to VPN
