I have been going to sterling since I was a small kid, i have spent my college days there since my college was nearby, the jai jawaan sandwhich stall is right opposite sterling and is very famous.
Sterling is very nicely made, there is valet parking too so unlike imax you dont have the headache of parking your car and wasting 20mins...there is a food court on the ground floor and is good enough, it has a subway stall, Gelato icecream and some others.
The theatre feels like home, its very cosy and small, the screens are small and u feel like its a private screening just for you and your friends or family, the seats are comfortable and neat, the staff is helpful and polite, i remember I had forgotten my phone on the seat once and the cleaner found it and gave it to me, the crowd is also good, mostly youngsters...the best thing is that the tickets are available just for 150rs!
Other movie theatres like metro, etc charge 200, 280, 320, 500!
So if u go for a movie with your family you would end up spending around 2000 Rs...now that is a little too much...for the same picture and sound clarity, good ambience and crowd sterling is way cheaper and better...for those of u who do not know where sterling is, its very closeby to VT station.
Also there is a MC Donalds outlet closeby...
