I had purchased a ticket from SpiceJet.
As the terms and conditions started with "SpiceJet allows free checked baggage allowance of 15 kgs per passenger for ALL domestic bookings"; so I also got misguided like many other passengers. Later they had mentioned that for some of the tickets extra amount need to be paid.
So long story short I need to pay good amount of money at SpiceJet counter for checking ANY baggage. This was not a nice experience.
Had I booked other carriers like IndiGo, Jet Airways etc; I would have saved myself from this unhinge.
Anyway I think that's what they are banking on that people will realize after 1st mistake and move on but in the process they will extract some money from commuters. So be alert and be safe.
