It is almost a corporate policy at Pepsi to emulate the ideas of Coca cola by launching its me too versions.
For a change Pepsi has come up with Pepsi Blue without a harbinger version from Coca cola. Finally,Pepsi has struck an Original Idea.
Pepsi Blue is a so called refreshing drink in a fresh color..Blue. Being the only one of its kind with respect to color in the indian soft drink market, it catches the attention and lures the common man on street to give it a try.
Pepsi has kept this version available only during the Cricket World cup.
With so much ado about sponsorship issue for the world cup, Pepsi has come up with a marvellous idea to Launch Pepsi Blue ..at an appropriate time ...sort of representing it as an Official drink of the Indian cricket team in its official color...BLUE....Just for the Men in Blue.
Idea of keeping this as a limited edition offer..adds to the fizz which the drink lacks.
As far as the taste is concerned, its a berry cola mixture with a tinge of cough syrup.
Good to try once ...should gel the tastes of those who prefer sprite.
My wildest imagination says that it will go well with vodka..the vodka guzzlers must give this idea a try:-)
