I want and will pay for a dumb phone that does exactly two things well: Voice and SMS.
I DO NOT WANT GPS, I DO NOT WANT WIFI, because I don't like having all my personal details sucked up and sold to the highest bidder.
I DO NOT WANT JAVA, because there is no security.
I DO NOT WANT UPGRADES. Whatever software the original Nokia ran will be fine. All I really need is a the contact list, the log, and a profile. I don't want to waste my time playing stupid games.
I DO NOT WANT FRAGILITY. I want to be able to drop a phone and not have to pay hundreds of dollars to fix it.
All I want is a simple, rugged, secure phone that doesn't try to be my personal assistant. Please, Nokia, do that and don't listen to people who want an inferior version of a smart phone.
