Mysore Sandal Soap has sandalwood base which gives it a unique pleasing smell. My dad loves this soap and has been using it for a long time. But they have also added other things to sandalwood to create this soap because of which it lathers and has surfactants which are not good for dry skin. My oily skin feels clean and oil free after using this but dry skin of my mother feels absolutely parched and she has to put on extra moisturizer. That is why she uses Pears soap and I would recommend this soap only to oily skinned people. It cleans very well and the fragrance lingers around for a long time. It is also long lasting big bar of soap and very value for money.
