(A detailed and honest customer experience)

Im writing this review so others dont lose their hard-earned money and fall into the same trap I did with Livspace. Please read this patiently before you sign anything or make any payment.

1. First Visit(The Beginning of the Trap)

I walked into Livspace on 28th September, expecting professionalism. Instead, I was assigned two so-called designers. One of them showed clear attitude, snapped at me mid-conversation, and even mocked my ideas behind my back.

That alone should have been my red flag.

But then I was introduced to Rajashri, who claimed to be the manager. She immediately switched to sweet-talk mode, promised support throughout the process, and pushed for an immediate ₹;25, 000 initial amount.

This is their first trap.

1. The Budget Manipulation Game

Once they know your budget, they will magically structure the quotation to match it NOT based on quality, but by cutting corners everywhere while pretending to accommodate your expectations.

They make you believe they are offering value, but the actual materials they include are far cheaper than what they pitch.

1. Shady Screen Sharing & Hidden Edits

During discussions, they share the design screen but the moment you ask for the quote, they stop screen sharing.

This is where they alter prices and inflate the quote.

I confirmed that shutters AND interiors were included only to later find out they had removed interiors quietly.

1. The Ridiculous Pricing

For 3 wardrobes, 1 kitchen, and 1 mediocre TV unit, they quoted ₹;8.5 Lakhs using MDF and basic granite.

Other vendors later quoted ₹;7 Lakhs for premium PLY, quartz, and an Aristo shutter system.

Livspace was charging more for significantly cheaper materials.

1. After Paying The Real Attitude Begins

Once you pay the initial ₹;25, 000, the tone changes.

Team becomes unresponsive, careless, and extremely unprofessional.

They schedule meetings but keep switching designers so you repeat your requirements every single time.

They dont take notes, dont observe your space proactively, and dont suggest ideas.

Their interest is only in moving you to the next payment milestone.

1. Site Measurement Scam(₹;15, 000 Extra)

They charge ₹;15, 000 for site measurement, claim its detailed and transparent but never share the measurements.

They also promise the final quote will go down after measurement.

It never happens.

1. The Final Straw

After repeatedly reminding the team to ensure the full staff attends the final review meeting, only two people showed up one with hardly 2 years of experience, clueless about my project.

At this point, I knew I couldnt trust them with my home.

1. The Refund Trap

I never signed any policy agreement, yet I was told my ₹;40, 000(₹;25k+ ₹;15k) is NON-REFUNDABLE.

I even requested to purchase something else instead but they said the minimum purchase must be ₹;2 Lakhs, otherwise the 40k cannot be adjusted.

Another trap.

Once I walked away and shared my story, several people told me similar experiences

Livspace thrives on aggressive sales tactics, false promises, poor quality, and non-refundable deposits.

Final Words

If you value your money, peace of mind, and time please avoid Livspace.

There are MANY better vendors who:

Use premium materials

Offer better pricing

Respect your time

Dont manipulate and trap you in payments
