KEM is a hospital which attracts the poors in Bombay(hey I hate calling Mumbai...fine if you want to!) I had a hernia operation and luckily my dad had some contacts with some docs at KEM and therefore we were able to get a room of ourselves. Unlike other hospitals, KEM has a huge 'hall' with probably abt 100-150 patients in there. I really appreciate that KEM is helping the poor, which gives a huge clue about their prices. The doctors seem to be very experienced and are very good in communicating with patients. Also, the hospital is located at a good place. I will recommend this hospital because I feel its not fair to not recommend when they organization is trying to do good for the poor in India, which belive me is the most pleasing part of it. Still, you might wanna chat and find contacts so that you can get a room of your own:-)
