I never knew Indore had an airport, i didn't even know if what kind of place Indore was, but as I had to attend a wedding there and then move to Bangalore, we booked tickets from Indore to Bangalore Indigo Flight.
Firstly, Indore airport is quite far away from main city, We reached airport in about an hour from center of the city battling heavy traffic, Its almost end of Indore, it was open and remote area.There was ample parking space there and there wasn't much crowd there, We entered the airport after showing our IDs.
The airport is good enough from inside and named after a local Holkar queen.It has good toilets, good shops and good staff, The waiting lobby area is also good with ample chairs, LCD TVs, water arrangements and food shops.The airport area is also ok.We didn't had any kind of problem there.It was a nice experience.
A suggestion to Indore Airport-If they could provide a RO instead of a plain filter machine in waiting lobby area, the water will taste better.
