I purchased the Civic on Diwali day. From the date of booking to delivery, it took 18 days. Do I have any major complaints with the Civic? Nope. So, Is it the best car in its category? Emphatically yes? Could something have been added to make it better? Sure, all cars have that.
No Fog lights in the base model.
Head rests at a more comfortable angle(3 people of varied heights have told me this).
Fuel efficiency meter.
One glaring omission is the non existence of the mute on the car stereo.
Boot opening option on the key fob.
Beyond this the car is a drool and I love the pleasure it gives me each time I see it. If I look at the Octavia, Corolla, Cedia, Optra and Elantra which are its closest competitors, they are not a patch on the Civic.
However, my biggest downer is the dealer. They should be sacked for their poor service.
