Have brought a HCL laptop on July 06, 2012 from Homeshop18 and received it on very next day, was very glad to have this bargain. It was a Dual core laptop with Windows 7 for Rs 18000/
The problem started when audio jack of my laptop stopped working.
Called HCL on Oct 30, 2012 , since it was having Onsite warranty, after good efforts, HCL technician visited my home on Nov 07, 2012, carried with him and returned my Laptop on Nov 12, 2012.
Display of my laptop is having problem after the day he returned it. have called this guy and HCL customer care center several times, but there is no response from HCL till date.
Have called and written to Nodal Officer also, but a Govt. office seems better than the HCL office.
Nodal officer is not available to HCL customer on phone, so that no-one can speak to him or make complaints regarding any issue.
I am planning to reach consumer forum now to get my laptop repaired.
MY SINCERE ADVISE - DO NOT BUY HCL LAPTOP/COMPUTER FOR THE SAKE OF SAVING SEVERAL HUNDRED RUPEES.
