Nestled in the inner lanes of Koregaon Park, the Great Punjab should certainly be a restaurant of choice for lovers of north Indian cuisine in Pune. I would particularly recommend the kebabs on offer, which are succulent, juicy and tender.
There is plenty of choice available for both non-vegetarians and vegetarians. The menu has a section even for calorie-conscious foodies, although I'm not sure of how low-on-calories these items are. The restaurant ambiance is decent; more suited for families than business get-togethers or romantic meetings. Service is exceptionally quick, and the staff is courteous. Overall, a great experience without burning a deep hole in the pocket.
