I am on the verge of booking a Ford Figo for myself. As my daily commute is only 15km, I am opting for the petrol one. My friend who has one says the car doesn't give more than 11-12kmpl in city. However, as my daily running is less, I am ok with this fuel economy.
The reason why I went for the Figo was the fact that I needed space for 5 adults and in this case, the Figo scores well. It is comfortable too and the petrol model has good discounts going on.
Negative I would say is that the seating is low so getting in and out for elderly people will be a bit difficult I think.
