This is the most fascinating beach I have ever seen.Feeling would be more appropriate.Because once on Diveagar Beach you enter a Divine world.Just feel it.Feel the fresh air,the unpolluted waers,the cool and calm surroundings,a quite and hospitable village.Everything in its purest form.
But if you are looking for luxury forget it.Diveagar calls for simplicity.Simple staying and simple food.There are no hotels in Diveagar.You can get lodging facilities with the local villagers.Bapat is one of them.They also provide tasty but simple Maharashtrian food.You must try it.
Also go for all the shopping.Phanaspoli(a sweet dish made of Jackfruit) Mango Sweet etc.Its just unbelievable.
Also donot forget to visit the Suvarna Ganpati Temple.Its such a beatiful Gold Statue.
You can reach Diveagar from Pune by Bus or your own Vehicle..There is no direct transportation to diveagar.You have to change buses but its easy.You can get local transportation from Srivardhan Bus station.
It is a good place to visit for couples(who dislike disturbance and crowd) and also for families as this place is not crowded and also the beach is quite safe.
