Hey frnds,
the most awaited car in its segment is here now.yesterday I visited regent automobiles,delhi for a test drive.i should say that the machine impressed me a lot in first look.design is a bit more aerodynamic and unconventional than others.looks bigger than its original size.exteriors are cool,.interiors are very specious both front and back.dashboard is better as its not in conventional dark grey colour.it gives u a clam and royal feeling when u get inside.tilt steering is provided.fog lamp is absent in base model.gear knob is like a spherical paper weight(not so cool).the car is bigger in dimensions than others in its segment.
most important of everything,milage-:its claimed as 13 to 14 in city with a/c and 16 to 17 on highways with ac.looks a bit overclaimed but wd give around 12 in city and 15 to 16 on highway.
ride was a quite smooth,pickup was ok.gear shift is quite hard but was ok.some unconventional things may make u change habits like for back gear u 'll need to lift the gear rod and indicator is on left side.
overall the car is ment for sporty use with good pickup and sporty look but a bit costly.the on road price of base model 1.4 cc is 6.24.next one is 6.85 and high end model is 7+ .price is between fiesta and city.lets see how the performance is in coming days.
