Was looking to sell my VIVO Y50, as you can see from the picture they quoted Rs. 4911 after selecting from the report that I had one dot on my screen. No where it says on their website final price will be decided by field executive who examines the phone upon pickup. Final quotation by Cashify what is given by Cashify at the time of placing pickup should ideally be the amount you should receive. This is such a waste of time and misleading customers. I had arranged 2 different executives, both after coming and examining the phone dropped the price to Rs. 2500. They started negotiating, so I asked the executive who came to pick up the phone to give the same price as what was displayed on Cashify final quotation after selecting appropriate option of dot on the screen. Also, I had a red dot, no where on their website it states red or white dots. The field executive said if you had white dot, I would have paid you the quoted price. Simply made excuses and wasted my time. You're running a business here, not a fish market. The executive came from some local mobile market(Jagdish Market), he called up the mobile shop owner and shared phone details, after which he quoted Rs. 2500. The executive was trying to grab the phone at a lower price, so that he gets high commission in the middle and sell it off to the local mobile shop. Please also note, these executives aren't directly employed by Cashify, they are from a local mobile shop. Where is the transparency? You are completely misleading customers by giving them false commitment of quotation, then giving executive the audacity to negotiate, to top that he is making excuses. Both executives weren't professional at all. I wouldn't recommend anyone to use Cashify, rather if you are looking to get a new phone then exchange your old phone in exchange program online or even exchange at retail stores like Bajaj, Reliance, Vijay Sales. Saves you the hassle. Cashify is not worth it as it's purely a platform just to attract with false commitment.
