One of the Best Burgers I have ever Had. Review on Burger King, Camp, Pune

Many a times good food is found in the most unlikely and less known places. One of these is a fast food joint called 'Burger King' in Pune. Let me clarify in advance that its not in any way related to the well known fast food joint in the US however the fare which they serve here is Super.

I have been to most of the 'well known' burger joints such as McDonalds, Subway etc but I have been dissapointed by the bland taste of most of their burgers/rolls. The focus is either on making burgers with a tasteless patty inside alongwith fresh lettuce and the likes which make me feel that what I ordered was not what I really had in mind. I don't know how anybody can eat bread alongwith fresh vegetables ! ....it really beats me. Maybe I am not the kind.

I like my burgers which are juicy with a liberal helping of mayonnaise with crisp and tasty patty and of course the bread should be fresh. And thats the way they make their burgers in this joint. The place is clean, and the service polite. The place is not one of those places which seem to be in perpetual hurry but are one of those old fashioned joints which have this sleepy kind of atmosphere.

You can have your burger and can stay and chat for a longer time without someone bothering you for more orders. Another great thing about this is the pricing. A 'mini' chicken burger costs you Rs 20 while the 'Jumbo' Chicken burger costs you Rs 40 and is only for those with paranormal appetites. :) The joint is generally patronised by Pune's Student population. However now and then I see older and middle-aged customers like the old Parsi couple I saw last week who seemed to be One of their Older regular customers and who definitely seemed to enjoy their burger.
