I live in Mumbai. Presently I have a MTNL trump which I keep with my son, when he is at school. The phone is not used much. Normally one or 2 calls in a week (incoming & outgoing included). My current expenses are around 325/month. I wish to go for the BSNL Rs 100/month connection for students. But I don't know how it will work at mumbai in case I take a thane BSNL Mobile number. My Idea is to reduce the expenses ( as phone is not used & we are maintaining it only for precautionary measure.
Can any one explain me the working of a BSNL Cell one number at Mumbai. What shall be incoming charges (most probably it will be under roaming) & out going charges. Do BSNL give such connections against Mumbai addresses against Mumbai school. Is there any security desposit for the same. Or the helpline number of BSNL Thane shall also serve the purpose. Also I would like to know where in mumbai I can get the SIM card for same.
