Bank of India is one of the oldest and trustworthy national banks in India. I have an account with them at Bandra Kurla complex Mumbai which I opened thanks to my father who has been a lifelong Bank of India customer and he introduced me to its banking services. I recommend this bank to everyone because-
1-It is a national bank which is always more trustworthy than private banks, there is support of government behind it
2-The infrastructure is good, big office with proper staff for every thing, ATM, cheque book, everything working properly
3-Keeping in with times, they have improved their facilities of internet banking and mutual funds
4-They give proper guidance to someone who goes there for first time. I had some investment queries and the staff told me all about options in Mutual Funds, fixed deposit, ULIP that I can use
5-They help in opening demat account too for those who want to trade in shares
6-They also sell gold coins which come certified by a govt. body and the rates are comparable.
7-Their rate of interest are comparable to all other banks, nobody is going to have a loss by keeping money here
8-The service is quite fast, I got cheque book at my address within 2 days of giving my application
9-They also have service of private lockers
