I went to Dr. Shabbir Ahmed (Gastroentrologist). He is just a useless chap. All he need is to make money. He doesn't look patient , doesn't listen to them and just ask them for endoscopy without trying to give any medicine. It costs 2000 Rs for doing endoscopy and its hell of a experience. They say, you need to pay first to book an appointment. (This is done so that you pay them right away and don't have time to think) .Dr doesn't care if you actually need to do it or not.
He is interested in making 2000 Rs per patient. I went there on Sunday as per appointment, there were other 5 patients waiting for endoscopy (all from Dr. Shabbir). He takes one patient in, do endoscopy in a very bad and unhygienic way doesn't even bother to offer you water. you would almost be at the verge of puking out. There is no facility (washbasin) in the room to spit.They direct you to outside restroom and before u r back, they have another patient in. I am not sure if he actually cleans the instrument. I just saw him washing it with plain water.
My specs and mobile was inside room and I was asked to sit outside as other patient was going through endoscopy. And guess what, I checked with 3 patients, all had normal reports. So endoscopy was all not required.
