99 - urban comedy . Review on 99

Its been a while since i've seen a hindi film..wasn't expectin' from this one..but must say am pleasantly surprised..99 directed by Raj and Krishna D.K is an urban comedy abt two crooks- kunal and cyrus..one night while fleein' from the cops make the mistake of stealin' a gangster's(mahesh manjerekar) car..

How they payback the gangster forms the rest of the story.. with characters of boman irani , soha ali khan , amit mistry making for the rest of the cast..99 entertains you and keeps u hooked especially the 2nd hour..

cast -

kunal khemu - apt for the role and his new look is very impresssive

cyrus broacha - irritates a little but comes out good overall

boman irani - splendid as the compulsive gambler

soha ali khan - nothin' much to do

mahesh manjerekar - a so-so performance

amit mistry - very good

simone singh - plays to the gallery

pretty neat film .. crisp photography and good songs at well placed positions in the film..

its not path breaking cinema its just decent cinema which does a bit more than it promises.interesting dialouges n'.background score deserve a mention..

verdict - go for it...
