i guess we indians need to make movies like ’’meet the parents.’’ the plot is such that it can be accepted in any and every society. every father goes through it. every daughter and every son-in-law goes through it these days. it also highlights that our parents approval is very important in our lives. however much robert de niro troubles stiller, we feel sorry for both of them.
this is a must watch movie for all de niro fans. this movie speaks to people of all ages and all societies. after all a father is a father, whether he existed in 19th century or in he might live in the 23rd century. it displays an emotion which knows no time or season. at is an all time favourite. i wish we had a few indian movies made on such topics too.
