I remember exiting the Mahalakshmi Temple along with my parents on a sultry Saturday evening dating back to my childhood and taking the cab to a heavily illuminated restaurant on Dr. Ambedkar Road called Great Punjab. Not many reviews are available for Imagine Channel's latest show Zor Ka Jhatka, which is the Indianized Wipeout series, so I'm taking the task of writing one. I have been watching Wipeout on AXN on and off(2:15 pm weekdays) and trust me, I am bowled over. The games remind me a lot about Takes...Read more

Watch the original Wipeout on AXN weekdays 2:15 pm and then decide which one’s better. SRK should only host the show and leave the commentary part to a professional like Jaaved Jaafery. Besides, it’s really irritating when SRK and his dumb commentary keep coming in between the game and disturb the e...ntire flow. I don’t have a problem with the show, the participants and the games; it’s only that SRK must talk sense (or else shut up) and the creative in-charge should take lessons from AXN’s Wipeout and Takeshi’s Castle. As for the respite from Saas-Bahu sagas, don't expect the same channels airing them to dish out any sanity either. Better watch Discovery or NGC instead!Read More

We have some good news here. I wanted to test how my review fared, so I ordered a Jumbo Thali from KP. And guess what, these guys have really improved - the service, the temperature of the food, the taste, the quantity of food served, the hospitality. I can’t say it was bang-on, but I was surely imp...ressed. Mom didn’t have to go hungry and she was really satisfied. Keep it up, KP, and hit a bigger one next time! Love you, MouthShut!Read More

I'm a hardcore vegetarian cum eggetarian, so whenever anyone in my peer circle would raise the topic of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), I would always prefer to walk away and chat with a vegetarian bloke instead. However, I had recently seen an ad of KFC Veg Zinger Burger, which is mainly targeted...Read more

When K-Stars Mall was newly opened in Chembur in 2009, Kailash Parbat was my parents' favorite eating joint in the mall (more so because my parents are strictly vegan and Mom prefers Indian vegetarian fare only). Its service was fantastic, the staff was polite and its meals were always value-for...Read more

I agree that the background music needs to be toned down as it tends to drown the dialogues. Also, the dialogue, ''Daya ka jab haath padta hai toh daanton ka piano bajne lagta hai'' may be liked by some but it gets nauseatingly too repetitive. Hope the producers note these angles.

This one's better than the Half-Blood Prince though. However, there's no denying that this one was way too scary and focussed more on special effects than the story. Yet, what is Harry Potter without special effects? And our thirst for the finale has been triggered now, so can't wait more for that......Read More

@Shreya512 I agree. But then, good sense must have prevailed Tarla Ji and hence she did not sign the show! On a serious note, maybe Tarla Ji refused the offer because she's a vegan. On the other hand, Rashmi Uday Singh, the famous food critic, would not have been a bad choice.

I know the names of hardly any of the contestants. The entire focus is on Akshay Kumar. Even the other two judges get relegated in the background. I guess those two other judges may be desperate for achieving ’’Sanjeev Kapoor’’ like fame and that’s why they agreed to judge on the show.
