@ashfaque1bd no, the fin isnt blue. neither was it on my asga18ftta 5 star, even though the brochure said so. quite strange though.

There are people who get excited the moment they buy a new product, and review it out; and then there are people like me, who wait, and wait. A year maybe? Thats probably a good time to have had your product tested and to have had assessed all the pros and cons which you are willing to share ...Read more

Hi @shaahid786 well before that you need to decide whether you want to go in for an inverter or a non inverter. Then ill be able to better suggest you.

clearly mitsubishi heavy industries is not impressive at all. have seen may of them working around, but would rather have a mitsubishi electric over this any day.

@ashish9784 As far as imports are concerned, both mitsubishi electric and fujitsu general are fully imported from thailand. However, I would consider mitsubishi electric a marginally inferior brand, as compared to its rival- mitsubishi heavy industries. However, I have been using ogeneral for over ...a decade now- and having used brands like daikin too, I shall consider ogeneral anyday over the rest of the brands- primarily because it has an umnatched quality and robustness along with far superior cooling and highly advanced airflow management in the indoor unit. Having upgraded to their 5 star split, 18ftta last year, I have not had a single moment to look back and have reconsidered my decision. Yes, its very costly- and is as good as inverter acs from many leading japanese brands- but the longer shelf life what you get is certainly worth the premium. Buy the general, I would say. You could read my review, incase.Read More

Its been more than a few years since my last review, which of course was on airconditioners only. The last review of mine was on the Daikin non inverter, FT50GV1G6, which was a 5 star rated model, and has been working relentlessly over the years without a break down. Rest aside, with the o...Read more

@ssgeethan thanks for the response. btw, am not too sure whether to stick to toshiba, daikin , general or mitsubishi. i have had daikins, so want a change. the room happens to be 135 sqft, top floor, delhi, exposed roof, west facing. which currently is served by a general 1.5 ton wac. but the room s...eems to get cold abnormally due to probable oversizing ( during humid seasons, seeing a cycling of compressor thats too often). the room should ideally be served by a 1.2 ton split. however, if i go for a non inverter, i would have to buy the 1.5 ton. or if an inverter, then maybe a 1.2 ton or a 1.5 ton. general, am only keeping for the non inverter. for the inverters, i have daikin and mitsubishi, in mind. what u say? confusing .LOLRead More

hey! was interested in buying general inverter myself, replacing the ogeneral window ac ive had for 9 years now. shud i be going for the dealer one, or the grey mkt one? i assume the inverter is made in thailand, unlike non inverters. thanks much.

for such a small room, one ton , or maybe lesser was sufficient. the ac is too oversized to cool such a small area.

@dat23393 sorry for the delayed response. all the three brands u mentioned are good. depends on whether u are looking for the inverter ones or the non inverters. also let me know as to what is the floor they are required to put onto. i have both the daikin and general, and have had a pleasant exper...ience with them so far.Read More

@chaudharygaurav gr8 u found my review useful!!! i would say limit yourself only to ogeneral and daikin, if u have used ogeneral before, this is because if u are well versed with their service part(which isint good- rather, bad now, as far i have experienced). though the products are good, the ppl... selling them arent:) so, only daikin . well. for the size of 312 sqft, which is somewhat near the size of my living room, for which i use the 1.8 ton non inverter unit. i would like to know for which floor its needed, and what is the location of the room like, as in when it faces the sun , and whats the usage and how many ppl occupy the room at a given point of time. then ill be able to suggest in a better way. :DRead More

@itsamitkhanna312 the efficiency for the non inverter m series model is even more than what daikin is currently offering in the inverter ones, and moreover, buying the inverter is gonna cost u even more in terms of running, as the ac has to be used for lesser time. its advisable to go for inverter ...models only if the usage is upto 16 hours a day, otherwise a waste. and moreover, in the north indian climates, non-inverters serve the purpose, as daikin inverter outdoor units are still not as well accustomed to the north indian harsh heat. so, sensibly go for the non inverter one. :)Read More

@itsamitkhanna312 yes, i am very sure 1 ton size is more than enough ! its 1.5 ton what i use for my 180 sqft top floor aptt in delhi, with exposed room, and it chills the room in just half an hour, given the fact that the room is west facing and has huge glass panes on one entire west facing wall.... so, sincerely from my side, go with the 1 ton machine, and it would indeed work wonders. shopkeepers have a their own say, its better not to listen to them, that what i know.i simply go to buy, not to make decisions there :D the machine would cost around 35000 inr, excluding stabilizer, more or less. do ask more, if u want! kaushalendraRead More

@itsamitkhanna312 hi there! great you read my reviews and follow my posts!!! :D btw, for the room size you mentioned, what i think is 1 ton would be more than enough. the model which you should go for is the daikin FT35MV16 , which has got a good cooling capacity of 13000btu, and is infact a notch... more than a 1 ton unit. also, the secondary brands you could look at are mitsubishi heavy industries and ogeneral , incase. this daikin machine should be a good buy, and is a better choice incase of electricity fluctuations too!!!! :)Read More

@cprajeevmenon hi there! daikin surely is a great brand. but the size of the room you mentioned, i guess it would be difficult to suffice the need with one machine, unless you plan of investing in 2 acs. if yes, then daikin non inverter ft60m is the one to go for with 22000 btu of cooling. these... machines are 5 star rated and is an upgrade to what i currently have in my living space.Read More
