Looks like a cut and paste review here. Why is your evaluation only TWO STARS if your review is in superlatives?!!! Is this sarcasm? Your review is in complete disagreement with actual customers.

The review does not sound realistic, it seems to be written by an armchair writer paid to glorify the school than a parent who had an actual experience there. I suspect this is a setup meant to undo the harm done by the other reviewer who had a heart breaking experience there.

Went there again a few weeks back. This was now peak season! So we could only afford a 2 hour ride on a small motorboat. The fare was Rs 350 per hour for this small motorboat with no frills. The regular houseboat would have cost Rs 1200/- per hour now. There is no lunch and such frills in the small ...motorboat, just cruising. We were a group of few men who had managed to get away from Cochin for a day while on a semi-official trip to Cochin. So we did a lot of unusual things like sipping fresh Toddy (Kallu in Malayalam, Neera in Kannada/Tamil). Believe me, fresh Toddy tastes like not so sour champagne. It is a lovely taste and I am amazed that the government has chosen to kill a produce of India that could well rival the wines of Europe. We also had great fish dishes. Big lobster fried in front of us, huge fat river fish cut and sliced in front of us and fried. All this from a makeshift eatery that jutted out from an island (near Arblock) and meant exclusively for clientale on motorboat. Nice experience, was like reliving the bachelor days all over again. The earlier article was meant as a precautionary one for the travellers, not as a travel narration. Well, if you want to know my opinion, do go for a boat trip to Kerala at least once in your lifetime. If you have done boattrips elsewhere like Kashmir or other places, it is not very different there. In fact, the boat holiday idea itself was borrowed after a Kashmir boating experience by one enterprising soul from these parts.Read More

To Baimuch: Well my review was written in Feb 2006. Your comment has come at Dec 2008. I have not visited the place, keeping in tune with my decision not to waste my time AND MY MONEY all at once. We went there for Lunch one Saturday afternoon, we usually do that on Saturdays. Unfortunately, the men...u on all Saturday afternoons (I am not sure about other days) is the same and we were a little disappointed in getting the same menu all over again. It is a little unusual to have Sambhar with your rice and then follow it up with Bisibelebath, to use a stronger word it is crazy. The fruit salad was cut and refrigerated from morning. By the time it was served, the fruits had lost the fresh flavour. Pooris were nice and soft, but the accompanying dish was too spicy. Again, the wait and the hassle and the money was not worth the fare. I would recommend the Woodlands lunch fare for anyone who does not want to waste time and have a great vegetarian meal in a lovely ambience with waiters hovering around to serve you as per your need. To your point of being able to return the items and ask for a fresh serving, you are surely speaking from your desktop. We certainly did not want to wait for another round of serving to eat having already waited close to 30 mts to grab a seat. As for talking to the management for items that need improvement, I think your comments are a proof that nothing has changed over 25 years, that includes the negatives too. After spending close to an hour and half to have your breakfast, one certainly does not want to spend some more time giving unrequired gyan to an overly haughty management. I find that the breakfast clientale is mostly male morning walkers most of whom have done the same during their college days and bachelor days. So I can understand if the discerning taste of the female palate is missing from the 'Wah wah'ers list. As for the Doctor part, there are enough places in todays B'lore that serves you quality food at half the time and mRead More
