I Agree on the after sales service. Carrier is pathetic on that part. I also have the same product and it has been running for more than 3 years. But never had any issues with it. However, to install this piece, we had to hire our own people. Because, the guys sent by carrier were useless. Good review. The SD card slot is not there. That's a real drawback. Have to rely on the in-built memory.

Your might have some other constraints. But you could have given it a try to get a new PAN card for your son (can get it in 3 weeks). It is just a number the bank fellows want and your son would definitely need one any way in a few years if not now.

Ya. Products from Bata have gone down in quality. But the prices have gone up. It is a surprise that the company which ruled the foot ware market in India doesn't have quality products nowadays.

Ya. ICICI bank is very disorganized and their customer service is poor. Looks like, lot of their staff don't work or they simply work only on things that they get returns in terms of commission, etc like their insurance, mutual fund products. ICICI bank is a very disorganized one. They simply cheat on a lot of occasions and try their best to get away from it as most of us don't go to a level to fight all the way because of other fears

These banks randomly pick the customers and simply loot. Do not give any chance by being careless on paying bills or anything that is related to these cheats. Stick to a disciplined approach and fight these cheats.
