How it works:
You order food that is packed into 2 packets by restaurant.
Your Zomato valet delivers only 1 packet to you and claims this is what the restaurant gave him.
You complain to Zomato and get a refund for the missing items. You suffer because food items are missing from your meal.
Zomato deducts this amount from its payment due to the restaurant. Restaurant suffers a loss.
Zomato loses nothing, although they should be accountable for it: Being a delivery service, valet should check the order. It is also likely that the valet siphoned off the 2nd packet.
In either case, Zomato wins, while the customer and restaurant suffer.
