Zerodha is a discount brokerage firm where you can trade at really cheap brokerages but there are a lot of downsides of it too.
Just like there are differences between branded and local products.
Zerodha does not offer you any good technical analysis chart personally I dont like the charting software provided by zerodha.
Also the costumer care is rude they pick up the calls after keep you waiting for a good long time and then from their conversation it feel s that they are not at all interested in solving your problem.
One good thing about zerodha for which I had chosen it and also not given it one star is the transparent brokerage, You can easily check your exact profit and loss after deduction of brokerage on their website by just entering your buy and sell price and quantity. Their brokerage fees is just heaven for intraday traders where other platforms like sharekhan charges double the brokerages as zerodha, Zerodha is an absoulte delight to trade in stock market for retail traders.
Honestly if you are a professional and look for some professional trading platform with best in class tools and support or even if you are an investor of want to invest in MF, Zerodha my friend is not for you. On the other hand if you are a short term trader or an intraday trader zerodha can be best for you!
