It is the greatest misfortune for all those who are in Zensar or are thinking of joining Zensar. This company that claims to be the trail blazer in HR practices has worst HR professionals in its role starting from the top. It neither bothers nor take cares of its employees.
It has no role whatsoever in the growth of the employees who join them. The HR accepts everything that is told to them by their managers and never bothers to check facts.The managers - both at on-site as well as offshore are plain incompetent. Most of the managers come from one region - no prize fro guessing which region - as this is a truly regional company.
The Managers are not only liers but are also very corrupt.They go at great lengths to hide their incompetence and inefficiencies even to the point of damaging the career prospects of their own colleagues.The only career growth and job security is if you are willing to go to South Africa which is the only big market Zensar has as no other big player wants to compete in this crime infested and dangerous country.Those who agree to go to South Africa are doomed as in most cases their passport is taken by the Zensar Admin of South Africa to process their work visa and is kept at the office.
This makes the lives of the employees with long term engagement hell as they can't move out without a passport.There have been some instances where Zensar admin in south africa never applied for any work permit for employees working their for more than a year. People with Families have been affected as they were made to work illegally without any visa. In these tough times only those people should join this company if they have nowhere else to go.
