Zee TV is the epitome of ZERO creativity. They have tons of soaps that showcase there are no values in our current Indian society. The daughter-in-law is always creating havoc in the house (Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli, Pavitra Rishta, Choti Bahu), the mother-in-law is devil reincarnated (Pavitra Rishta, Choti Bahu), the useless father (Pavitra Rishta). The list goes on.
All relationships are built on mis-trust, dishonesty and taking advantage of one another.
Overall all serials are have a common theme and lack any creativity whatsoever. Unfortunately in the US, providers like COMCAST only have Zee as an option for a Hindi channel. Of course once the channel is subscribed, parents tend to watch it as it is the only source of Hindi entertainment (if I can call it entertainment at all).
The Zee TV family is probably living the same kind of hollow life they show in their serials but I wish theu would stop projecting this to the rest of the world.
