Please do not believe the YOU Telecom marketing people, they will promise you lot of things which you will never get. So stay away from YOU TELECOM
This are the problems that I had to face with YOU TELECOM
1) Promised a contengention ratio of 1/4, but given 1/8.
2) Even with 256kbps bandwidth, I was not getting above30-40kbps. I tried downloading from local pune server but got 10kbs only. FromMicrosoft sites 20-25 kbps
3) Fibre outage lasted for many days and caused lots ofproblems
4) The local DNS servers fails many of times, and we have tore-boot our machine many a time in a day.
5) YOU support staff says its fault with our machine so we were forced to format our machine and even when the problem was not solved they asked us to route it through a hub, which did not solve the problem.
And when I called for cancellation of my connection I was told that the refund will be take 45 days, and YOU people take a advance rental and I am told that I will not get my rental back but I will have to use the connection for the remaining days. I approached the Nodal Officer and Appellate Authorities - they never replied my mail. i hope I will get my refund back some day
