I was really astonished why "MS" officials missed this YEZDI 60, while making Yezdi catagory in thi s section.
This cute commuter was a slightly upgrade version of the great old "JAWA 50 pion'r"
this is a3 speed machine with nearly 2.5 bhp( Soon I 'll post full specs of this buddy)
When this was introduced it had a small cowl on its Head light , just resembling a "BEAR",
SO it was called 'karadee jawa at my place.
Though it was said, "it is a upgraded version of JAWA50., the quality of parts like carb, meters & chassis was not up to the mark( bcoz they used spaco carbs instead of jikov et., )
this bike has front &rear tyre interchanging facilty, which our recent bikes don't have.
It has a dual seat then its predeccesor.
fuel economy was good comparitively
I think IRANI family lost interest in thi s after seeing other gearless machines with good fuel econmy coming to Indian roads.
Hence the production of this cute machine was stopped..
