No Refunds . Review on Yatra

Further to our discussion yesterday you had confirmed that the refund amount totaling to 6200 approximately was to be refunded to my account and that the amount had been electronically transferred on the 18th of november.

I had booked hotel via yatra.com which was subsequently canceled by them due to non availability.

I am yet to receive the amount and as per HDFC( my Bank) it does not take more then 24 hours to process electronic transfers.

I would also like to bring to your notice that the email from yatra below specifically stated that the refund would be done within 7 days and today is day 10 already. Also if the booking is not confirmed I do not think yatra has the right to deduct the amount from my account and keep it hanging for this long.

Over all yatra sucks and I will never use Yatra services in life. If you really want to see a good online travel site please check the service level with makemytrip offers. I think the biggest mistake of my life was to use Yatra Services which I will never again do and will also make sure that all my associates know about the services of Yatra.

At this time I just hope that my the money is refunded to me.

The funny bit here is that According to the Great Arti the amounts were refunded on 18th and should have hit my account on the 20th which is today but nothing.

Funny bit is that Sandeep singh just told me that one refund was processes on 18th and another on 19th and it will still take 48 hours. ha ha ha .

This is what is a classic example of good customer service. WOW.

Bottom line is all talk and no money refunded to the poor customer which is sadly in this case me.

I think it is better to pay a few hundred rupees more to other sites then to go through this ordeal.
