Yaanum theeyavan is an action thriller and the cast of this movie is fresh all are new comers except Raju sundaram the first negative character role as serial killer but this movie is very very patience testing movie .Micheal ( Ashwin Jerome) and Sowmya( Varsha Bollamma) are college mates turned livers as Sowmya father arrange her for higher studies and fixes marriage with relative boy in abroad . So she tell the situation to Mike and couple enter wedlock with help of friends as they are about to start fresh life they get caught by serial killer Pasupathy and take them as hostage and start torturing the couple the reason to torture them becoz the heroin once witnessed a murder committed by Pasupathy and also hero ( Mike) as attacked and caused injuries to Pasupathy .The story of film is good concept but execution is not good that is screen play .
The dialogue and songs lacks a bit that is heavy hangover of this film , there is no strong reason for Pasupathy torturing the lead couple there is nothing new way the Pasupathy character ending and debut actor Ashwin fit the character and music by Achu rajamani is quit different and debut director no hit the sliver screen with good flim
