We all knew before buying that Mi Pad is great piece of hardware at very good price. So it is understandable buyers are feeling happy with it. But it is not perfect.
Battery Draining Very FAST - Battery life isn't good & MiPad is laggy even with youtube videos.
The most issues are performance related. And with the hardware it has, there should not be any performance issues on this tablet. Settings menu stutters. Making overall experience a real downer. The screen is beautiful, speakers are above average and it is well built. But entire experience is marred by the performance issues of MIUI 6 on this tablet. I dont know if it is a faulty piece of hardware that I got or this is the norm. But if this is the norm, this is unacceptable user experience from such device. Also Please note ONLY 12 GB is available space, U can not install Apps on SD card.
Total Waste of Money.
Charging takes 8 hours to charge from 5% to 100%.i mean this is insanely long period even for a 6700 mah battery.
Battery discharges at 1% every 2-3 mins.i mean whenever the screen is on.this happens.but in standby no issues.i got a total of 5hrs 22 mins from 100 to 5% charge with 3 hrs net browsing.rest of it reading some pdf.
The worst of all - it is getting heated to the extent of 65 deg C after 5 mins of playing Subway surfers.I feared it may explode in my hand and switched off the tab. Beach buggy played for 3 mins with 62 deg C.
