A decent budget phone. Review on Xiaomi Mi 3

The thing with these chinese phones is that while they look and do great, their life expectancy cannot be guaranteed. The Mi3 is a good phone for the price which it retails. But I have seen many people complain that it stops working right after a couple of months.

Pros:

1. UI: It has a good UI and feels smooth to use

2. Price: Bang on for price for quality

3. Camera: While not amazing, takes good pictures of decent quality

4. Battery life: Gives about 9 hours on a full charge with regular usage including texting, videos, pictures and social media

Cons:

1. Bloatware: There is too much bloatware for my taste. Could definitely do without the built in apps

2. Build quality: while the phone is light and seems sleek, the overall touch and feel doesnt feel great

3. Maintenance: replacement of any internal parts is expensive

4. Phone life: starts getting slow after a few months. Updates only make the phone go haywire.
