We purchased Whirlpool 650h in May 2010. The reason for buying - it was the only machine which had inbuilt heater among top loaders. The machine was working fine till the warranty period i.e. for 2 years.
After the completion of warranty period we encountered the following problems till date.
Oil started leaking from the gear box - black patch appear beneath the machine.
The PCB board burnt 2 times costing around 7.6K for the new ones.
The inlet valve got damaged - Rs900/
Motor belt had to replaced Rs600/
Now gear box got damaged and the technician is charging 6K for replacing it.
This is when we decided to replace the machine. So altogether we spent around 9k is last 2 years for maintaining this machine. We were not aware of AMC while buying the machine and e-zone Koramangala Bangalore did not offer it to us while buying.
