Webferret from Ferretsoft is a unified interface for all the major search engines. Its primary task is to perform searches on all major search engines which it supports. This saves a lot of time and the searches are more relevant and useful. The interface of this software is very simple and one could easily mistake it to be the ''File Finder'' of Windows operating system. Since this product is also Ad-supported, it’s free to use.
The help provided with the software is pretty useful and easy to understand. The advanced features include the capability to remove duplicate URL's, Host's and Title's from the search results. You can also set up filters to block out pornography and foul language and set up an administrator password. After the search is done, you can validate the results or save the search or save the WebPages too.
Due to its simple and easy interface and the ability to perform searches on around 20 search engines simultaneously, such a search bot is highly recommended for research purposes. However Webferret is still my second choice, because I already lost my heart to Copernic 2000, which I would be reviewing later sometime.
