W3schools has an amazing content when one wants to learn developing website. When I was in 4th semester of my b.tech I learned website designing through this website. The content is detailed and helps a lot. It has an online compiler for html which saves the burden of writing code evrytime. The website isn't very cumbersome and is user friendly. It loads fast. The interface of the website is good like the topics are arranged on the left side like an index from where you can jump on any other topic of the same tutorial.
