Vrindavan is a very beautiful holy city in mathura approx 80 km from delhi towards agra. I took bus from kale khan bus stop delhi for vrindavan chhatikara stop. It took 3 hrs to reach. One can also hire taxi via yamuna expressway.
My first destination was banke bihari ji temple which is the main temple of vrindavan. Other famous sights are BARSANA, GOKUL, GOVARDHNA AND ISCKON TEMPLE. I had great time in ramanreti
I booked guest house for night stay. It cost around 800 per night. There were many cheaper dharamsalas and 3 star hotels also there. All guest house and dharamsalas close after 9pm daily so that was problem I faced.
Police security was tight. Even in temples also police gaurds were there to look after. There were barricades after every main temples to check. Overall security and safety was of great order.
Overall nice place to visit.
