A real bad experience from Hutch GPRS (India)and a matter of concern!

This happened to me a week back morning when I found my pre-paid account balance on the negative side...!moreover I was not able to send any sms or make any calls...checked with the customer care and came to know that games worth Rs.99 was downloaded from my phone. Added to that many astrological sites were visited as well!

I got outraged by the response and walked up to the nearest Hutch office where they showed me all the browsing history on their comp screen which was absolutely non-sense to me since during then my phone was in conversation!

They said they can't help it and I registered a written complaint (though I know very well that no miracle is gonna happen)and got my GPRS service de-activated right away since I didn't want to continue paying money for somebody else's mis-usage...

I used to be very careful and diligent in gprs usage by visiting only the free sites such as zedge,tagtag,esato,yahoo msgr and the likes...the speeds were not at all bad for a 99 bucks connection and was pretty content with it.

But then,this is really sick on the part of Hutch since they can't take responsibilty for any of their technical faults...

Had read about Sim cloning and all...now I suspect it to have happened to me...

This is not just a matter of losing money but a much more serious issue of invasion of privacy! what do u guys say?
