This is from someone who has been using Orange/ Hutch service for over 3 years at a stretch... I must say that there has definitely been an overall improvement in the service over time, though there is still a lot of scope for improvement in the service, as well as value addded offers.
One of the best aspects about this service would be the helpline. It has a really good helpline which one normally gets through, though tehre are rare times when they goof up, though that would be the human error. But they do try and rectify it when I blow up, so that's ok!! hehe
However, the cons would be that they charge for every possible thing... like say, roaming in Maharastra and Goa by most service providers like Airtel, Trump, Reliance is automatic.... U don't need to pay extra rentals. The call charges are as applicable. In the case of Hutch, you have to pay a rental of Rs.49 for this too...
But all in all, this is fairly good. I have had my own share of problems with it... but it is quite good. the connectivity is ok, nothing great, but they are planning to set up more towers in the city, so that should be ok.
