Vlc media player is one of the best media player but it is good for it desktops not for laptops because when i used this in my dell laptop in few days my laptop speakers volume had decreased.one day laptop speakers got dead and i came to know this is due to vlc player by my dell service providers.my friend use lenovo laptop his speakers also got damaged due to vlc only.
So i conclude that it is good for desktops but not for laptops especially for dell laptops.
